Below are links to plugins and accessory items to use with Audacity to create timing marks used to import into Nutcracker

XLTap

XLTap is a program developed by Logan Moore to allow users to "tap" a beat and produce an audacity label file.

Install and Instructions

  1. Download XLTap file. XLTap (Version 1.0)
  2. Install XLTap file.
  3. Open Audacity.
  4. Open a sound file using the "Select Audio File" option.
  5. Click Play.
  6. Tap out beats by either left clicking inside the box marked "Tap Here!" or press the space bar.
  7. Click stop when you have marked up your song.
  8. Click "Export" and give a filename. This will will automatically get a .txt extension.
  9. Create xLights Sequence.
